for locating The Windrush Club, and giving me the opportunity and pleasure in
giving you a few details of the Club.
The Club
was formed in 1975 by the then manufacturers Cotswold Coachcraft Ltd., and
indeed Mr.Jim Pearman M.D. was our first Chairman and later President until his
passing
We Rally
in most parts of the country, normally of a 5-day duration. Linking in with
other rallies in a not too distant location / area to make a longer break. The
Rally fee is normally based on a nightly charge. There is the odd occasion when
it is a package for a weekend plus a nightly charge for nights before and after
the weekend. So it is entirely up to you how long you stay, especially if like
some of our members, that nasty work gets in the way of your enjoyment.
On the
Rally. We sit over the cup that cheers, and generally put the world to rights,
and if you have a problem with the caravan, there is usually someone on hand to
give help and advice. The main objective of the Club is friendship.
The fee is
£15.00 per full year, beginning from January the 1st Or £7.50 if
joining after 30th June. This entitles you to receive the Three
Newsletters, the Rally Book along with booking forms and details and directions
of the Rallies being held, Proof of membership , The most important item you
get for your £15.00. Is the opportunity to meet people with the same interest
in caravaning as yourself from a wide range of areas throughout the

normally have a membership of around 140, but not all members rally on a
regular basis, so attendance’s vary from a mere handful of about 6 to 12 and
around 30 or 35 such as the AGM. And the Easter Rally

the year in meeting you on the rally field.

member you will get help and advice from other members whilst on the rally
field. Also at such time that you may change your Caravan you are still able to
continue with the Club and if you have a friend with a different make. Why not
having become a member yourself propose them thus extending the hand of
friendship
